Showcasing Our Work at the 2018 IESCC Annual Meeting

Today, the graduate students of zur Nieden lab and our visiting scholar, Dr. Feyzan Özdal-Kurt presented their latest contributions to the field of stem cell research at the annual Inland Empire Stem Cell Consortium at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA.
Nicole Sparks, Lauren Walker and Steven Sera explained their most recent findings from our harm-reduction tobacco product toxicology studies while Omran Karmach presented his latest findings on microRNA involvement in early bone development. Dr. Özdal-Kurt joined in the presentations with her poster on her work studying the impact of different biomaterials on mesenchymal stem cell health.
